Our Story
The Motor City 3 is a group of three experienced musicians from the Metro Detroit area, who enjoy playing Jazz, Funk and Blues. We each have great affection and admiration for the inspiring musicians who have brought us all those great tunes, and amazing performances! We perform a variety of swinging Jazz, Funk and Jazzy Blues selections.

All the musicians in The Motor City 3 have many years playing in various musical groups from around the country and world. The guys play in other local and national acts in the rock, pop and blues genre's.
The Motor City 3 perform with finesse, taste and attention to detail directly from the vast playing and listening history each member has acquired from the recording and performances of the true giants in Jazz. We offer much gratitude and respect, plus lots of fun.
